Road trip!

Today we went back to the mountains to install Huper Optik Ceramic 40 on a lovely home overlooking Wintergreen.  The home owners called upon us after noticing damage to their furnishings.  Here are two of the pillows from their sofa which used to be identical.

There are 3 main causes of fading.  Ultraviolet light is the most responsible.  Heat and visible light are the 2 other main causes.  Using window film allows us to eliminate the UV light and reduce the heat and visible light.  While we cannot stop fading, we are able to significantly slow its effects in most circumstances.  

The reason we chose the Ceramic 40 is the view.  The low reflectivity and the natural hue of the ceramic film does not detract from the beautiful landscape.  The view is actually enhanced and sharpened by the glare reduction.

My favorite part of the trip was the sunset coming down the mountain.  The sun was a bright red ball and  the color spread out across the valleys.  I took a picture but it couldn't do it justice!
